FAQ.
Look at these questions before asking us (: thanks.

which side do u print the design on the smooth or rough side?
- You should print the design on the rough side. The smooth side should have some blue lines on it. That is NOT the side that you want to print the design on. But it also depends on what kind of transfer sheets you got. Make sure you got the DARK T-SHIRT TRANSFER.

so we can't wash them? why not?
- You can. They will turn out DIFFERENT when you take them out of the wash though. So I suggest handwashing and avoiding the design.

were do u get the paper to peel and place?
- We got ours at Walmart. You can also find it @ craft stores (:

It's called TSHIRT TRANSFER PAPER. The dark transfers work best.

how long take u doing 1 t-shirt ???????
- It took us 15-30 minutes for one. But it can go quicker/slower depending on how new you are at it.

Where do you get the t-shirt is it expensive?
- We got ours at Kohls for $6. You can get some nice ones @ Michaels for $3.

...sounds very cool...but was wondering: so we're NEVER to wash our shirts...so it's essentially just a wear-once shirt...seems kind of a waste.
- Well we made ours just for a concert, so I don't think it was too much of a waste. But you can actually hand wash it.

what brand tshirt transfers did you use??
- It's called "June Tailor", it should be in a dark blue package (:

wow u guys make it look sooooooooo easy but when i tried it the pic melted with the paper on it!!!!!!!!!!
- First of all, thank you! And if that happens, it might be because you forgot to put the parchment paper on?
If not, then I think it's because you left the iron on too long, or it was on the "steam" setting.

wow that was cool. but i have one question, what was that paper thing that you put on the design right before you ironed it??? please respond
- It's called Parchment Paper(:

okay, what type of iron do you use though?steam or no-steam?
- No steam! It will ruin the image.

Alright due to many unanswered questions our viewers had, we decided to make a HOW TO make a Jonas Shirt video.

Since some things aren't really clear in the video, we'll break it down for you right here.

1. Preparation & Materials
To make a T-shirt you will need the following:
- T-Shirt Transfers (Walmart, $7.00)
- Plain Cotton T-Shirt (We bought ours at Kohls for $6, but you can get them cheaper at Michaels for like 3.)
- Iron
- Ironing Board

2. Printing Your Design
- We made the design on Paintshop Pro, but if you want some made by me, go here: myspace.com/derved_designs
- Copy & paste your design to Microsoft Word for accurate sizing. Other programs work too, though.
- Resize your design however you wish, though we prefer full page.
- Print out a test copy on regular paper to get a better sense of how the design fits on your shirt.
- Print out your design on your T-shirt transfer paper.
BE VERY CAREFUL to print it out on the correct side. If it's on the wrong side, the paper will be useless.
- Cut out whatever extra paper you do not want to be on your shirt.

3. Peeling & Placing
- There should be a back to your design. Peel that off. It won't stick if it's still on.
- Place your design on your shirt. (We suggest trying on the shirt first, then measuring from the top where you want the design.)
- Make sure the design is centered, because once it's ironed on, it won't come off.

4. Ironing
- Read the directions that came with your Transfer paper because they vary depending on shirt texture, color, etc.
- Place the parchment paper on your design.
- Iron on for ATLEAST a few minutes. No less then maybe 3 or 4.
- Make sure that all the corners are ironed on. Your design will rip if they're not.

5. Final Result
- We do not advise washing the shirt. Nicky washed hers and the color faded badly. The T-Shirt transfers say "WASHABLE", but the design will fade on most papers you use.

6. Other information
- We suggest buying a shirt ONE SIZE bigger then you would originally buy, unless you buy really big shirts. It's just so the design won't tear when you're putting on your shirt.
- If you want, we have T-SHIRT designs for you guys to check out.
